The legal services consortium for public bodies

We are all facing increasing pressures and demands on resources against a backdrop of needing to maintain high quality legal advice. The EM LawShare consortium is a way of collaborating and harnessing the strength of the local government and public sector community together with specialist private sector legal support.

Our members benefit from shared knowledge and a greater ability to network with one another. This is not just a legal call-off contract – it is a true and vibrant partnership. Our members appoint their chosen law firm directly and build trusting, ‘critical friend’ relationships with individual lawyers. This is about empowering members and giving them the freedom to make intelligent purchasing choices with enhanced levels of cost certainty.

Our carefully selected partner firms work together to devise new and innovative training sessions including legal, practice & soft skills training & workshops. They collaborate to organise our conference, design and maintain the EM LawShare website and establish a precedent bank.

As well as discounted hourly rates, our members also have access to a range of extra benefits, including a free legal telephone help line and emergency out of hours service.  Click here to learn more about the many benefits of membership

EM LawShare continues to grow and we welcome new members who share in our partnership ethos and collaborative spirit. Click here to join us.
