David Potter is a Partner at Freeths and heads up a team of 20 specialist employment lawyers. He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and deals with all aspects of employment/HR law. David regularly acts for Local Authorities since our appointment to the EM Lawshare panel in 2006 and has significant experience of advising Local Authorities in relation to group and individual claims, strategic issues such as reorganisations and TUPE transfers and investigations. He often advises on matters which are complex and sensitive. He also has significant experience of handling complex discrimination claims. He understands the approach Local Authorities take to employment litigation and the pressures on budgets and control of costs. David has a Master’s Degree in Advanced Litigation obtained at Nottingham Trent University.
Hayley Prescott is an employment solicitor at Browne Jacobson. Hayley specialises in advising employers about all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious. Hayley regularly advises on disciplinary and capability issues, individual and multiple redundancies, grievances, dismissals, policies and procedures, contractual issues and settlement agreements. Hayley advises both public sector clients and corporate clients, and has a particular expertise in advising schools and academies. Hayley frequently speaks at internal and external seminars and conferences on all aspects of employment law.
