This course will look at

  • A whistle stop tour of CPR developments and topical issues for 2015
  • Ten interesting cases from the last year, lessons learnt, their impact on civil procedure, and pragmatic advice on best practice

Topics to be covered include:

  • Goodbye Mitchell, Hello Denton & relief from sanctions
  • New economic thresholds for bankruptcy/DROs & Court fees hike
  • Changes to the Pre-Action Protocols
  • Amendments to Part 36
  • Litigant in person costs & funding developments

Duration: Half a day (3 CPD points) including lunch

Speaker profiles:

Philippa Dempsterholds a masters degree in advanced litigation and is a qualified ADR Mediator and Member of the Association of Midland Mediators.
