The local authority landscape is ever changing under the constant restraints of delivering more for less. This year’s conference looks ahead with key note speakers and workshops to help you prepare for the future, whilst at the same time giving you an opportunity to network amongst your peers. This will also be followed by a plenary session on mental health and wellbeing.

This year we are delighted to have two keynote speakers:

Deborah Evans, Chief Executive Officer, Lawyers in Local Government. Deborah will share her thoughts on the professional challenges facing public sector lawyers and how to overcome them.

Dominic Campbell, CEO of FutureGov and Interim CDO Homes England. Dominic will share his ideas and experience leading a pioneering digital change agency for local government, he’ll share his unique insight on what digital really means for local government.

Dominic Campbell

CEO of FutureGov & Interim CDO Homes England

Dominic Campbell is a digital government entrepreneur with a background in government policy and technology-led change. He is experienced in organisation and service re-design and has senior management experience in implementing change initiatives within public services. Having spent five years in local government, Dominic established FutureGov in 2008.

Deborah Evans

Deborah Evans was appointed earlier this year as the first Chief Executive of LLG. Having started her career in local government at Dudley Metrlopolitan Borough Council, she has since gone on to work in senior roles across the legal sector, including the in-house legal team of a major retailer; as a Practice Director of a law firm;  in management at the Legal Aid Board; Chief Executive of the Legal Complaints Service, and most recently as Chief Executive of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. She has also been involved with digital claims resolution platforms such as Claims Portal and MedCo.
